Robin Ellsworth / Patient Coordinator
Robin is in charge of patient scheduling. She helps patients choose the most convenient appointment time for their needs, and she takes pride in ensuring that the doctor runs on time!
Robin is a La Mesa native and Grossmont High School graduate. In college she studied business administration. She has strong communication, computer, and clerical skills.
Robin will cheerfully help you make or change an appointment , answer questions you have about our office, or direct you to a staff member that can assist you. She is extremely well organized and detail-oriented, so patients can be sure their visit will go smoothly.
April Henderson / Eyewear Boutique Manager
April has been with Grossmont Vision Center Optometry since 2001. Her background in the world of fashion translates into expertise in selecting the most attractive frame designs available today.
April will find the perfect frame for you, and her extensive knowledge of optics and lens materials ensure that your vision will be clear and comfortable.
As manager of our Eyewear Boutique, April has created one of the best frame collections in San Diego! Working closely with top manufacturers, April is an expert at finding the most attractive, comfortable, durable designs for men, women, and children too!
April is our vision plan administrator, helping patients get the maximum benefit from their plan coverage. There is no insurance problem April can't solve!
April also coordinates scheduling of our laser vision correction patients. Having undergone the "custom" LASIK procedure in 2004, April will help you understand what to expect from laser correction.
Sally Lawson / Certified Dispensing Optician
Sally has been in the eye care business since 1980 and has over 25 years experience in the optical field. She helps our patients find the most attractive frames together with the best lens designs for all their vision needs.
Sally has tremendous knowledge of modern lens materials, including thin and light weight designs with superior glare reduction and abrasion resistance.
Sally has an uncanny knack for helping patients find the perfect frame for their face shape and skin tone.
In addition to her optical expertise, Sally is one of the friendliest people around! Our patients say she is always a pleasure to work with.
