Doctor Riggs has been in private practice since 1986.

He opened Grossmont Vision Center in 1998, and is proud to have served the vision care needs of La Mesa since then.

Personal:    

Doctor Riggs and his wife Valerie are native Southern Californians who enjoy San Diego's outdoor lifestyle.  They enjoy tennis, bicycling and hiking. Both are members of Toastmasters International and have won numerous awards for public speaking.

Their son Andrew is an Engineering student at the University of Califonia, Berkeley.
